SR-9011
SR-9011 is a research drug developed by Professor Thomas Burris at the Scripps Research Institute. It acts as an agonist for Rev-ErbAα with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of 790 nM for Rev-Erbα and an IC50 of 560 nM for Rev-ErbAβ. This drug is primarily used in studies exploring the regulation of circadian rhythms and its potential implications for the immune system, inflammation, and cancer.
SR-9011 belongs to the second generation of Rev-ErbA activators and is found in high concentrations in various tissues such as the liver, skeletal muscles, adipose tissue, and the brain.
